Behind My Dodger Stadium World Series Panoramas

Photographing Dodger Stadium during the World Series is different from photographing an ordinary cityscape. The photograph has to hold the architecture, the Los Angeles skyline, the crowd, and the feeling of a historic night at the same time.

Building a panorama with more detail

For my 2024 World Series work, I wanted the final image to feel expansive enough for a long wall without becoming soft when printed large. One of the championship panoramic pieces was built from 18 high-resolution photographs, while the premium Game 1 limited-edition panorama is a 512-megapixel original image.

The reason for working this way is simple: when a panoramic print stretches across 36, 60, or even more inches, small details matter. Stadium lights, the field, the crowd, the city and the horizon all contribute to the sense of scale.

Photographing the atmosphere, not just the stadium

A sports photograph can document what happened. Fine art photography also has to communicate what it felt like to be there. I look for the relationship between Dodger Stadium and Los Angeles—the glow of the field against the surrounding hills, the city beyond the park, and the energy of a night that fans will remember for years.

That is also why I offer both an accessible panoramic poster and larger collector formats. They serve different walls and different buyers, but they come from the same goal: preserving the night as a place and a memory.

Choosing between the poster and collector edition

The 2024 World Series Champions 12×36 panoramic print is the easiest entry point and works well in a fan cave, office, game room, or as a gift. The 2024 World Series Limited Edition Panorama is designed for collectors who want larger canvas, metal, acrylic, and framed presentation options.

You can see both pieces, along with the rest of the stadium photography, on the Dodger Stadium wall art and World Series photography page.

For limited editions, I also include information about edition status and authenticity. You can learn more on the Certificate of Authenticity page.
