Autumn color along a quiet Olympic river.

Olympic National Park Autumn River Fine Art Print by Chris Fabregas captures a river winding between evergreen forest and glowing golden foliage in Washington State. Pebbles, mossy rocks, and fallen wood add detail along the water’s edge, while a softly colored sky opens above the trees. The scene draws the eye upstream into the forest.

Where green forest meets golden leaves

The contrast between deep evergreen tones and bright autumn branches gives this Pacific Northwest landscape photograph its seasonal character. Water moves around rocks and gravel banks, creating a gentle rhythm through the composition. The vertical view emphasizes the height of the trees as well as the smaller textures along the riverbed.

A woodland view for a restful interior

This Olympic National Park photography print brings together river scenery, Washington forest, and fall color in one inviting view. It complements cabin decor, natural wood, and earthy living spaces, offering a quiet focal point for a bedroom, office, or reading corner. For forest lovers, it recalls the details that make a riverside walk memorable.

A vertical photograph for an upright focal point.

Artist Statement

I took this photograph because the autumn color along the river made the whole scene feel warmer than I expected. The water kept the composition moving while the forest gave it depth and quiet. I wanted to capture that short Pacific Northwest season when the greens begin giving way to gold and orange and familiar landscapes suddenly look completely different.
